The Flyers did not have a morning skate this morning since they are on the second half of a back to back, so these are just the lines from last night, and I’m assuming Hart will be in net tonight since Elliot was last night. I would not expect much (if anything) to change, but I will update this post later if I hear differently.

The Bruins (11-3-2) are coming off their worst loss of the season on Friday. They didn’t play hard for the majority of the game, and so the league-worst Detroit Red Wings taught them a lesson in league parity. It was also the first time this season they lost consecutive games in regulation. But, that’s exactly why we can expect them to come out flying tonight. They know they have not been playing their best hockey these past few games, and they’ll surely be looking to change that. The Flyers (9-5-2), on the other hand, are coming off a shootout win over the Toronto Maple Leafs last night, and are riding a three-game win streak. They’ve been a slightly puzzling team so far, as they’ve been good on several nights, but then they’ve also played terribly on others. So, I’m not quite sure what to make of them. But, they’re better than they were last season, and they’re playing good hockey right now, so it’s not going to be an easy game for the Bruins. That being said, I’m confident the Bruins can walk out of the Garden with two points tonight provided they start the game on time and don’t let up, especially since the Flyers just played last night. I’ll be live-tweeting the game over at PUCKerUp Boston tonight, so be sure to come hang out with me! I’m also hoping to finally get back to doing postgames for this blog now that I think I’ve fixed all the issues that have gone on with my site the past few weeks, so check back later for that!
