I’m going to try not to be too bitter in my coverage tonight, but no promises. Tonight’s game is sure to be a great one, as the Bruins are off to a hot start and the Blues have been playing well too. But, more importantly than that, both teams want to prove something to the other tonight, and emotions will certainly be running high. It’s sure to be a close, tight-checking, physical game, much like (most of) the Cup Final was. I, for one, hope the Bruins blow them out and chase Binnington from the net, but I’m aware that’s not likely and it’ll probably be a close one. I’m also not looking forward to the surely endless references to the Cup Final that will come from Doc and the rest of the NBC broadcasters, but I guess at least we get that over with early in the season. Like I said, it’s going to be a great game tonight and I’m sure the Garden crowd will be electric, and that despite their saying it’s just another two points, that the Bruins want these ones a bit more than usual. We’re currently having major technical difficulties over at PUCKerUp and are unable to post anything, but be sure to keep checking back in case we get it figured out, or at least follow along with the live-tweeting! I should also have a postgame up here tonight, so keep an eye out for that later!
