The Bruins continue their three game homestand today with a matinee against the Anaheim Ducks at the TD Garden. Puck drop is set for 1:00 pm ET, and the game will be broadcast on NESN and Fox Sports Primeticket. Here are the projected lineups for today’s matchup. Please note, at the time of my writing this, neither team had released their projected lineups for the game, so I gave them my best shot. I based both team’s lines off of their previous games, and I do not expect much, if anything, to change, but I will update this if and when changes are announced.

The Bruins will face an unexpectedly tough opponent this afternoon in the Ducks. After a disastrous 2018-19 season, the team has gotten off to a strong start under new head coach Dallas Eakins. However, the glaring issues with the team are currently still there, so they will likely come crashing back to Earth at some point soon. But, they do have a Vezina-caliber goaltender in John Gibson, and that combined with their strong start means the Bruins have to come ready to play at their best if they want to win this game. They should be perfectly fine if they play like they did for long stretches of the last game, and particularly like they played in the first period. But, if they’re sloppy and don’t play hard, it definitely won’t end well for them. I’ll be live-tweeting the game over at PUCKerUp again, so feel free to come hang out, especially if you’re stuck working and can’t watch the game! I’m also hoping to get a postgame done for this blog and faster than I did last time, so be sure to check back later for that!
