
Today, Pittsburgh resigned forward Teddy Blueger to a two year, $1.5 million deal with a $750,000 AAV. He appeared in 28 games for Pittsburgh last season, netting six goals and adding four assists. He also appeared in 45 games with Pittsburgh’s AHL affiliate, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, tallying 21 goals and 18 assists. He only played in one playoff game for the Penguins, in which he recorded zero points, The 24-year-old winger was a second round draft pick by the Penguins in 2012. He played at the renowned Shattuck St. Mary’s prep school before moving on to Minnesota State University. He played very well in NHL last season and could make an impact on the team as soon as this season or at least in the future.
