Hello, my name is Lydia, and welcome to my blog! I’m new to this, but hope to someday pursue a career in sports writing and decided it’d be good to get some practice now. However, I’m pretty rough right now so bear with me while I figure this whole thing out. Of course, I decided to start this at the end of the season, so not great timing on my part. But, over the next few weeks, I hope to write reports on prospects and free agents, as well as report cards on the Bruins season and playoff run (which hopefully ends on a happy note tomorrow night). During the season, I hope to write game reports and analyses as well as other, more opinionated pieces. Basically, I’ll be writing whatever I feel like that pertains to hockey, and that I think will help me develop my skills as a writer. Also, my writing will likely be biased towards the Bruins, either intentionally or not, so if you aren’t a Bruins fan this probably isn’t the blog for you. I’ll be traveling over the next few days and won’t have access to the internet, but I wanted to get my first post up and my blog launched before I left as the internet where I’m going is spotty at best. Stay tuned for more posts once I get settled as I’ll be writing while traveling!
